ARTIFICIAL GRASS
MAINTENANCE GUIDE
TO KEEP YOUR NEW ARTIFICIAL GRASS LOOKING IT'S BEST AND TO GET THE MOST ENJOYMENT OUT OF YOUR INVESTMENT.
FOLLOW THESE 4
EASY STEPS:
1.GROOMING
To keep your new artificial grass lawn always looking new it’s recommended to regularly brush the grass in accordance with the amount of traffic it receives. We suggest using a stiff bristle broom to brush the turf fibers in the opposite direction. For example: If the grain of the artificial grass is installed facing the street (southside) work your way up by brushing the grass against the opposite direction towards the house (northside) this helps to bounce the artificial grass fibers back up and keeps the grass from matting down. Below is the recommended brushing chart:

2.REMOVE LEAVES
A normal leaf blower can be used to clean your surface from fallen leaves and other debris. The frequency of performing proactive maintenance to your artificial grass lawn depends on your surrounding environment and usage of your lawn.

3.CLEANING AFTER PETS
Allow the pet’s waste to dry before cleaning up. To remove pet droppings from the artificial grass, simply use your preferred method for removing solid pet waste. This could be a plastic bag or a pooper scooper, for example. Once you have removed the solid waste, hose down the area in which the pet waste was located. To clean pet urine on artificial grass, use a hose to spray down the area at least one time each week. If pet constantly uses this area to potty we recommend rinsing off the area 2-3x week. It is also recommended that you keep a bottle of cleaning products such as Mr. Clean and Odor ban to disinfect the turf if there’s any urine build-up, which will allow you to avoid lawn odors with quick, regular treatments of the area.
4.FIRE AND HOT ITEMS
At all times prevent fire and hot items like BBQ ashes and cigarettes from getting into direct contact with your artificial grass lawn as this will potentially cause melting of the grass. Repairing is possible but it will be slightly visible.
